FINDRY

Privacy & Cookie Policy

Last updated: 16 July 2026

This policy explains the marketing-related data FINDRY processes, the lawful basis we rely on for each type of processing, and the rights you have. The two sections below rest on different lawful bases and are described separately.

Marketing attribution

When you arrive at Findry from one of our ads or campaigns, we record the campaign tags in the web address you came from (UTM parameters: source, medium, campaign, content and term) and the time we recorded them. We store these on your account to understand which campaigns bring people to Findry and to measure their effectiveness. We rely on our legitimate interest in measuring and improving our marketing. This data is not sold or shared with advertisers, and it is deleted when you delete your account.

The specific fields we store on your account are:

  • utmSource — the referring source (for example, an ad network or newsletter)
  • utmMedium — the marketing channel (for example, cpc or email)
  • utmCampaign — the campaign name
  • utmContent — the specific ad or link variant
  • utmTerm — the paid keyword, where applicable
  • utmCapturedAt — the time we recorded these tags

Lawful basis: legitimate interest (GDPR Article 6(1)(f)) in measuring and improving our marketing.

Advertising and analytics partners

If you accept marketing cookies, we load measurement tools from Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd. (“Meta”) and TikTok Technology Ltd. (“TikTok”). These set cookies on your device — _fbp (Meta) and _ttp (TikTok) — and receive a record of key actions you take on Findry (viewing our landing page, starting and completing signup, and your first scan) so we can measure the performance of our ad campaigns. Meta and TikTok act as independent controllers for this data under their own privacy policies. We rely on your consent as the lawful basis; you can withdraw it at any time in our cookie settings, which stops these tools loading and revokes the shared consent signal. If you do not accept marketing cookies, these tools never load and no data is shared with Meta or TikTok.

Your rights

You can withdraw consent for advertising and analytics partners at any time in your cookie settings. You also have the right to erasure: when you delete your account, the marketing-attribution data we store on it — including all of the UTM fields listed above — is deleted.
